Clare’s newly appointed Crime Prevention, Officer Sergeant Catriona Holohan says it’s important to remember each of the victims and the impact of these burglaries.

“These investigations are ongoing and Ennis Gardaí are appealing to the public for their assistance. We are asking your listeners to remember back to the early hours of Saturday morning in particular.

“Did they see any person walking in Ennis town between midnight, Friday night until 6am Saturday morning? Gardaí believe that the perpetrator was alone and tried to enter retail premises on Bindon Place, Bank Place, Parnell Street and O Connell Street.

“Significant damage was caused to the properties and we are appealing to local residents to check their CCTV, check their Dashcam footage and to contact us at Ennis Garda Station at 065 6848100 if you have any information”.
