Clare boss Wayne Freeman is praising his sides battling qualities after opening their ladies football league campaign with a win.
The Banner left Enniscorthy with a 1-7 to 0-1 win over Wexford in the first outing of the 2024 Division 3 campaign.
Fidelma Marrinan notched 1-4 for the winners, who host Sligo in the second round next Sunday.
