Davy Fitzgerald is set to be part of the Cork senior camogie set up for 2022.

The Sixmilebridge man is believed to have committed to a coaching role under new manager Matthew Twomey.
Fitzgerald stepped down as Wexford senior hurling manager after losing out to Brian Lohan’s Clare for a second consecutive year in the championship, bringing an end to his five year tenure in the south east.

The move could see him come up against his son Colm, who is part of the management of the Clare senior and junior camogie teams for 2022.
