The final standings in the round robin phase of the Clare LGFA senior championship have been confirmed.
It comes after a decision was reached by the fixtures committee of Clare LGFA to award Kilmurry Ibrickane the points after their game with Cooraclare was abandoned in the closing stages on Sunday afternoon.
Clare FM understands that a meeting of the Clare LGFA executive and fixtures committee was held last night to discuss the matter, with Kilmurry deemed as the winners which sealed their place in the fourth semi final qualification spot.
It means that they will now face reigning champions Banner Ladies in the semi final, with the holders topping the round robin group with a perfect record from their five championship games to date.
The other last four tie will see Kilmihil taking on Doora Barefield, while last year’s beaten finalists West Clare Gaels will take on Cooraclare in the relegation decider.
