The semi final pairings for the Clare senior football championship have been completed after a busy weekend of action.

Defending champions Kilmurry Ibrickane will take on Lissycasey for the second year running, while St Breckan’s and Eire Og meet in the other last four tie.

Kilmurry came through a stern test from Kilmihil before sealing their progression, and manager Aidan Moloney feels plenty improvements will be needed if they are to make it back to back final appearances.

Elsewhere in the senior championship, Clondegad produced a strong showing to see off the challenge of Cooraclare in the relegation playoff, condemning the Sky Blues to the second tier for 2022.

Cooraclare boss Michael Garry feels his side can have no complaints about the result.

Meanwhile, the semi final line up for the intermediate football championship was also completed, with the last four ties seeing Kildysart go up against Kilfenora, while Corofin take on O’Curry’s.

In the Junior A championship, 2020 beaten finalists Ballyvaghan are back into the decider, where they will take on North Clare neighbours Ennistymon.
