Fears are expressed that parts of East Clare may lose out on future State funding allocations due to households not receiving Census forms.

Enumerators are to begin the process of gathering up completed forms today, though it’s believed large parts of Scarriff, Killaloe and Feakle didn’t receive forms before last night’s Census date.

There is a legal obligation on all citizens to ensure that their details were recorded correctly by 7 o’clock this morning, with the data collected being analysed for future planning and economic purposes.
