The famous amateur golf event has been held in Lahinch since 1895, with 2020 being the first time since World War One that it was not played as Covid restrictions forced its cancellation.

The home charge will be led by Lahinch clubman Stephen Loftus who is getting his opening round underway at 7.30am, while East Clare’s Eoin Magill will tee off at 10.50am.
