Ennis To Tulla Road Reopens After Collision

The main Ennis to Tulla road has reopened following an earlier road traffic collision.

The two car crash occurred shortly before 9.00pm at Roslevan outside the entrance to the Gort Na mBláth estate.

Units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis station responded to the incident along with Gardaí and the National Ambulance Service. An ambulance and rapid response advanced paramedic unit attended the scene.

The road was left blocked by the two vehicles following the collision so traffic had to be diverted away from the area. Access to the Gort Na mBláth, Rath Bán and Lios Árd was safely maintained from the Tulla side of the incident.

The occupants of both vehicles were assessed at the scene by paramedics but were found not to have been seriously injured. It’s understood that no one required hospitalisation.

The road was cleared and reopened at around 9.50pm.
