Last year’s county football finalists Kilmurry-Ibrickane get proceedings underway tomorrow afternoon when they take on Lissycasey.

Aiden ‘Horse’ Maloney’s side are looking for a first Jack Daly Cup since 2017.

Momentum has been on their side so far in the campaign, having beaten last year’s champions St Joseph’s Milltown Malbay in the first round before a victory against Eire Og in the quarter finals.

Throw in for that one is at 2pm.

Maloney says his side go into the game looking to go one better than last year’s final appearance.

Then, at 5pm, the attention turns to hurling.

Defending champions Sixmilebridge face Eire Og aiming to win two titles on the bounce for the first time in three decades.

Sixmilebridge got their campaign underway last month with a five point victory over Eire Og in the first round and will be hoping for the same again at the weekend.

Manager Tim Crowe says he would’ve have preferred not to have a repeat of their first round clash.

The focus stays on hurling as we move into Sunday afternoon.

At 3pm, Ballyea and O Callaghans Mills battle it out for the right to play in the Canon Hamilton decider.

The Black and Amber will be looking for a repeat of their 2018 success, while the Mills have been a much improved side after narrowly avoided relegation last year.

Ballyea boss Kevin Sheehan believes his panel are looking strong ahead of the weekend.

When the hurling final pairing is known, football will once again take centre stage.

At 5.45 on Sunday, last year’s Intermediate champions St Breckans take to the field against Cratloe.

The Blues will be looking to get to a decider for the first time since their 2014 Jack Daly success.

Manager Colm Collins says they’re focused on the task at hand after dethroning last year’s champions St Joseph’s Milltown Malbay last time out.

Clare FM’s live hurling coverage this weekend comes in association with Blossom’s on the Go Garden Centre, Ennis, while our football coverage is with Ennis Home Furniture, Quinn Road Business Park, Ennis.

In other fixtures, Clonlara take on Crusheen in the Senior B hurling championship semi finals tomorrow at 1pm, with Ennistymon playing Cooraclare at the same grade in football at 5 o clock.

At Intermediate level, St Joseph’s Doora Barefield’s footballers take on Shannon Gaels in their semi final at 1 o clock.

The winners of that will take on the winners of Sunday’s clash between Corofin and Kildysart.

Meanwhile, in intermediate hurling on Sunday, Scariff play Smith O Briens for a place in the decider.
