Early 2025 New Target For Fully Electric Ennis Town Bus Service

A new Ennis town bus service is expected to be operational within the next two years.

Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has told the Oireachtas that a feasability plan testing the routes of the service carried out last month confirmed its viability.

The bus fleet provided by the National Transport Authority will be fully electric, with the NTA understood be to discussing securing land for charging infrastructure with Clare County Council.
