€4.6m In Sports Capital Funding Announced For Clare Clubs

Over 4.6 million euro in funding has been announced for sports clubs in Clare.

Minister for Sport Jack Chambers has confirmed this lunchtime that his department will issue sport capital grants totaling 150 million euro to clubs across the country under the latest round of funding of the programme.

69 sporting organisations in Clare will benefit from funding of between 4,000 and 150,000 euro, with the largest allocations going to Kilmurry Ibrickane GAA, Ogonnolloe Hurling Club, St Flannan’s Killaloe Diocesan Trust and St Joseph’s Doora Barefield GAA.
