Draws Made For 2022 Clare U-21 Hurling And Football Championships

The draws have been made for this year’s Clare U21 hurling and football championships.

It was decided that a backdoor system will be implemented for the two top tier competitions, along with the U21B hurling championship.

The opening round of the U21A hurling championship sees Newmarket face Clooney-Quin, Crusheen-Tubber take on Scariff-Ogonnelloe, Corofin-Ruan meet Clarecastle, and Inagh-Kilnamona play Clonlara.

In the U21A football series, Eire Og meet Ennistymon, Western Gaels face Miltown, Corofin play Kilrush-Killimer, Cooraclare go up against Cil Cuil Gaels while Wolfe Tones take on Doora Barefield.

The first round of the hurling championship gets underway on the weekend of October 29th.
