Draws Made For 2018 Clare GAA Championships

The 2018 Clare GAA Club Championship draws have thrown up some attractive fixtures.

There’s a repeat of a recent Senior Hurling Final in store while the football series will see five teams drop out of the top tier.

Defending hurling champions Sixmilebridge take on Clonlara with these sides last meeting in the 2015 decider.

Last years beaten finalists Clooney/Quin go up against Wolfe Tones while Newmarket and Kilmaley square off for the first time in championship since their relegation battle two years ago.

Elsewhere O’Callaghans Mills meet St Josephs, Whitegate clash with Ballyea, Tulla square off with Eire Óg, Clarecastle go up against Crusheen and Inagh/Kilnamona take on Cratloe.

Kilmurry Ibrickane begin their bid for a third senior football title in a row against Kilfenora while 2017 runner up Clondegad start off against Doora Barefield.

Kilmihil are welcomed back to the top tier by Cratloe while Cooraclare and St Breckan’s meet for the second year running.

Ennistymon have been drawn to face O’Currys while Miltown meet Wolfe Tones for the second time in the last three seasons.

Eire Óg and Lissycasey will do battle while Doonbeg go up against Corofin.
