Doyle: GAA Need To Scrap Rule Preventing U20’s From Lining Out After Senior Appearances

Former Clare U20 manager Sean Doyle feels the rule which prevents those who have played senior championship from lining out at the grade needs to be addressed.

The ruling states that players who see games time at senior championship level must wait until their county has been eliminated from the championship before they are eligible to line out at U20.

The Bodyke man stepped down from the role in 2021 after three years in charge, with Whitegate’s Terence Fahy appointed as his successor.
