Doolin-Based Mum Furthers Calls For Vaccine Priority For Family Carers

A North Clare-based mother of a child who has autism and mild cerebral palsy is furthering the call for family carers to be prioritised for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Nicole Pennekamp, who’s originally from Germany but has been living in Doolin for 16 years, would be deemed a priority in her native country.

Nearly all of her family in Germany have been vaccinated, including some who have received the jab because they are caring for others.
