Disruption Expected To Parts Of East and North Clare Water Supply

Homes and businesses in East and North Clare are being warned of water disruption today.

Uisce Éireann is currently carrying out repairs to a burst water main in the Parteen area, with works set to be completed by 6pm tomorrow evening.

The utility says upply will be impacted in Larkins Cross, Griffins Cross, Gortatogher, Parteen and surrounding areas, while a traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Repair works are also being carried out in the North of the county, following a burst water main.

Supply will be impacted in the Kilfarboy, Ballyvaskin, Freaghvaleen, Rineen and surrounding areas up until 4 o’clock this evening.

Uisce Éireann is advising customers that they should allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for their supply to fully return.

The utility says it continues to work with Clare County Council to ensure supply disruption is kept to a minimum until the works are finished.
