Further Dip In Overcrowding At UHL

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows 35 people were waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 23 of those in the Emergency Department.

It comes on a day when 551 patients are waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
