On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan spoke to David Hare, Author of ‘The Great Lighthouses of Ireland’. David discussed his latest book which has been published as an accompaniment to the TV series of the same name. The book explores stories of sophisticated engineering, fatal shipwrecks and heroic sea rescues. The book also captures a series of images of Ireland’s best known lighthouses including Clare’s famous Loop Head Lighthouse. David’s work has been nominated for the TheJournal.ie Best Irish Published Book of the Year 2022.
