Clare County Council will hold a Covid-19 commemoration ceremony this afternoon at their headquarters.
Organised in collaboration with the HSE and An Garda Síochána, the ceremony will commemorate those who died, those who’ve been bereaved during the pandemic and will also acknowledge the individuals who cared for the dying, their families, and those who gave crucial supports to vulnerable members of the community.
The event is part of a nationwide remembrance event.
