Kilmurry Ibrickane say they’re considering an appeal to the red card shown to Peter O’Dwyer at the end of Sunday’s Clare Senior Football Final win over Clondegad.

Referee Pat Cosgrove sent both O’Dwyer and Joe Neylon off deep into injury time for an incident close to the sideline.

If the appeal is successful, it would leave the veteran midfielder free to face Dr Crokes in the Munster Club Semi Final.

Kilmurry manager Aiden Moloney says everyone will be needed for the trip to Killarney on November 5th.

Sunday’s victory was Kilmurry’s 15th title overall and their 8th since 2002.

Six of the panel now have 8 county medals having been involved in that win over Liscannor to bridge a 9 year gap at the time.

One of those is Enda Coughlan, and the former county star says they’re looking forward to making up for recent disappointments against the Kerry men in the provincial series.
