Corofin will make their bid for a second Munster intermediate club football final appearance in two weeks time.

The North Clare men overcame Limerick side Kildimo-Pallaskenry, as a battling performance in their home ground saw them dig out a 1-13 to 1-6 victory.

They will now take on Cork side Newmarket in the last four, with Corofin’s last appearance in the provincial decider at this grade coming in 2006.

Manager Doug Hurley felt his sides response to losing a man to a red card early in the second half was a crucial factor.
