Considine: Irish Success In AFLW Down To Level Of Competitiveness In Irish Sport

Clare’s Ailish Considine feels the success of Irish players in the Australian Women’s Football League is a testament to the competitive level of women’s sport in Ireland.

The Kilmihil native is currently searching for a new club having being released by the Adelaide Crows, with the former Clare ladies footballer having struggled with injury this season.

The 2019 senior championship winner enjoyed huge success with the Crows, playing in three Grand Finals with two of the ending with a winners medal.
