Conheady Confident Limerick Festival Hero An Forghas Will Thrive After McKiernan Move

Clare trainer James Conheady is confident one of the stars of his yard can progress his career after moving on from his Newmarket on Fergus yard.

An Forghas provided one of the highlights of the sporting year as he came home the 125/1 winner of the bumper race at the Limerick Christmas Racing Festival.

The horse was bred, trained and ridden by James, and gave him his first major winner under rules.

Oliver McKiernan has since bought An Forghas for his yard, and James feels he has all the qualities to continue improving.
