1-9 of the Kingdom’s opening half tally of 1-11 in Fitzgerald Stadium came as a result of Clare coughing up possession, with Sean O’Shea’s second quarter goal coming at a crucial stage in the game.
The 3-22 to 1-11 defeat sees Championship 2021 come to an end at the first hurdle for the Banner, with no qualifier system in place in this year’s championship.
