This years Clare senior hurling and football championships are set to begin on the same weekend.
It’s after clubs opted to amend the proposed structure to the hurling championship, which will now see the round robin phase played a two groups of five and two groups of four.
It was also decided to begin the championship a week earlier, with the weekend of July 10th now set to see action underway.

It was also decided that one game in the football championship be played that weekend, with the teams involved in that fixture to be decided when draws are made.
