Clooney-Quin Finish Best To Claim Clare Intermediate Camogie Crown

Clooney-Quin made up for last years final heartbreak by seeing off the challenge of Whitegate to claim the Clare intermediate Camogie title.

A late Susan Fahy goal saw the sides level heading down the home straight, but a brace of scores from player of the game Orlaith Duggan and a sixth from Emma Considine saw Clooney-Quin seal a 0-14 to 1-8 win.

The first half was a tense affair with the sides level at 0-5 each at the half time whistle.
