The captain of the Clare senior footballers says their full focus is now on their winner takes all showdown with Kerry in two weeks time.

A positive second half showing in defeat against Mayo sees Clare heading to Killarney with good momentum as they bid for a first championship win over Kingdom since that famous 1992 final.

There are still concerns over the fitness of All Star nominee Jamie Malone who has not featured since being forced off with injury in the opening minutes of Clare’s first outing against Laois.

Miltown’s Eoin Cleary says Clare need to take their second half form to Killarney if they are to be in with a shout of causing an upset.
