It’s the third ban to accrue for Clare arising from the fixture after Jamie Malone was suspended for two games following his sending off and manager Colm Collins was handed a one month sideline ban.

Meanwhile management have named their team for tomorrows trip to Newry to take on Down.

There’s two changes from the starting 15 that lined out against Tipperary.

The bans for Gordon Kelly and Jamie Malone mean management are forced into shuffling the deck for the clash in Pairc Esler.

Cillian Brennan returns at full back after recovering from a head injury while Kieran Malone comes in at wing forward.

The team in full is Killian Roche in goal behind a full back line of Cian O’Dea, Cillian Brennan and Eoghan Collins.

The half back line is unchanged in personnel with Ciaran Russell flanked by Pearse Lillis and Aaron Fitzgerald.

Cathal O’Connor and Gary Brennan continue their midfield partnership.

Eoin Cleary continues at centre forward with Kieran Malone and Gearoid O’Brien on the wings.

Sean O’Donoghue and David Tubridy are either side of Keelan Sexton in the full forward line.

That one starts in Newry on Sunday with a 2pm start and Clare FM will have live online commentary along with on air updates in association with Clare Car and Tractor Parts, Gort Road Business Park Ennis.
