On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined live from Qatar by Cian Meaney and Cathal Tighe who are attending the World Cup. Cathal is living long term in Qatar while Cian who has previously won two Canon Hamilton’s with Ballyea is visiting Cathal. The pair discussed their personal experiences of life in Qatar and the ongoing scrutiny of the country in the media. They also spoke about the World Cup matches they have attended so far what the atmosphere is like in the Middle Eastern country during football’s biggest tournament.
