Clare Technology Expert Calls For Serious Discussions To Prevent Cyber-Bullying

A Clare technology expert claims parents and schools need to have serious discussions over phone usage to prevent cyber-bullying.

It follows the results of a new survey this week which found that over 25% of primary school children here aged 8 to 12 have experienced cyberbullying, rising to 43% for girls in secondary school.

Education Minister Norma Foley meanwhile has signalled her intention to push regulations that would ban phones in national schools next year.
