A Clare TD claims the Government is “marching us towards World War Three” due to inaction around the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Middle East.
It comes as at least two people have been killed as a result of Israeli air strikes on the Syrian capital Damascus today.
As the death toll in Gaza climbs above 29,000 meanwhile, the US has vetoed a widely-supported UN resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Palestinian territory.
