On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by John Sweeney who is the Co-ordinator of Clare Sports Partnership. John spoke about the campaign Clare Sport Partnership have launched called ‘Season of Respect’ which aims to tackle the issue of abuse towards referees and officials in sport throughout Clare. He described the process of educating clubs and schools on referee and official abuse through workshops in order to put a halt to the issue.
