Clare INTO Representative Accuses Government Of ‘Dragging Its Heels’ On School Antigen Testing

The Clare representative of Ireland’s largest teaching union is accusing the Government of ‘dragging its heels’ on antigen testing for schools.

The INTO is looking for a pilot scheme for antigen tests to begin in schools and wants an urgent review into the restricting of face coverings to children aged 13 and over.

Primary school teachers are also looking for the immediate reintroduction of COVID testing and tracing in schools.
