Clare Qualify For Back To Back Munster Senior Camogie Deciders

Munster Senior Camogie Semi-Final: Clare 1-15 – Limerick 0-11

John Carmody’s charges will have a crack at the provincial showpiece for the second campaign in succession following a hard-fought and deserved victory over their Shannonside neighbours at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Truagh-Clonlara’s Áine O’Loughlin led the charge with a haul of 1-03 for the Banner women as her first half green flag saw Clare take a 1-08 to 0-09 lead into the second half.

Lorna McNamara & Orlaith Duggan were also to the fore registering a combined tally of 0-11 over the hour as Clare ran out winners on a full-time score of 1-15 to 0-11 to secure their place in the provincial decider.

The Munster final will form the first part of a double header for the Clare Senior hurler’s clash with Waterford in Semple Stadium Thurles on Saturday May 13th.
