The Mayor of Ennis is urging Clare’s TDs & Senators to appear before a special meeting of the local authority.
It comes amid concern over funding allocations proposed for the municipal district schedule of road works.
Just €5,000 has been allocated for works at Clareabbey roundabout , which despite being one of the busiest junctions in the county; linking Clarecastle to Ennis, has no cycle lane or pedestrian crossing.
