Clare Must Drastically Cut Wides Tally For Premier Showdown – Guilfoyle

A former Clare hurling captain feels cutting down on the wides tally will be the main focus in training this week ahead of Sunday’s Munster semi final against Tipperary.

Clare had 23 scores during last weeks win over Waterford, but also missed the target 23 times over the 70 minutes.

It’s expected there could be changes to the starting 15 for that game, with David McInerney back in contention for a starting spot after coming off the bench against the Deise.
