Clare Minor Hurling Captain Gunning For Shot At All Ireland Title

The captain of the Clare minor hurlers says the disappointment of last year’s All Ireland semi-final loss was a motivation for them to get over the line this time around.

A showdown with Galway awaits for Brian O’Connell’s side on Sunday week, after both sides came through their last four ties with impressive showings.

Clare haven’t lifted the title since 1997, with Eoghan Gunning hoping to follow in the footsteps of Sixmilebridge’s John Reddan in leading the Banner to the All Ireland crown.
