Clare Minor Boss Praises Perseverance Following Last Gasp Win


The Manager of the Clare Minor footballers is praising his squad for persevering to the end in the opening round of the Munster Championship.

Clare snatched victory from the jaws of defeat at Pairc Naomh Mhuire Quilty following a last minute goal from Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Conor Burke who finished with a personal tally of 1-08.

Next up for Dermot Coughlan’s charges is a trip to Ballyagran to face Limerick on March 9th.

Coughlan says it took a full panel effort to get over the line against the Déise and is hopeful their squad depth will prevail again next week.
