The chairman of Clare Ladies Football says comments made by Kerry manager Declan Quill in the wake of their postponed National League opener were “disappointing and unprofessional”.
The sides were due to meet on Saturday in Doonbeg, but the pitch was deemed unplayable following heavy rain, with the game instead switched to next Sunday afternoon.
Former Kerry player Quill posted on social media that it was a “joke” to postpone the game, along with claiming that “something was up”.
