A Clare Independent TD has expressed concern that the roles of dedicated Money Advice and Budgeting Service mortgage advisers are only renewed on an annual basis.
Funding is jointly provided by the Departments of Justice and Social Protection.
The Clare branch of MABS has been operating for 31 years and employs three staff, with 115 cases handled in January of this year.
