Clare Homeowners Said To Be Carrying Home Improvements Due To Rising House Prices

Clare homeowners are said to be carrying out home improvements more and more due to an inability to buy new property.

New data from the Irish League of Credit Unions has found that 37% of consumers have spent “significant” money on home improvements in the last two years with 45% of these relying on savings to do so.

The Credit Union Consumer Sentiment Index for March, which measures consumers’ financial confidence, is up from where it was this time last year at 69.5% but down from last month.
