HSE Health and Social Care Professionals in Clare and throughout the country are set to commence industrial action next month to highlight concerns over career progression.

It follows a union ballot, backed by 93.5% of members which included dieticians, orthotics, occupational therapy, podiatry, physiotherapy, speech and language Therapy, social work and social care staff.

Forsa claims the HSE have failed to implement a career pathway review for HCSP personnel in almost five years.

Action is set to begin on September 11th and will begin with a complete withdrawal of co-operation with third level student placements.
