A Clare GP believes the demand at the expanded Medical Assessment Unit in Ennis General Hospital will continue to grow over the coming years.
The UL Hospitals Group has confirmed what’s essentially a doubling of its MAU facilities at the hospital from this time last year.
204 patient slots per week will be available in Ennis – up from 100 in February – with recruitment for positions in the expanded unit already underway.
