The latest attempt to solve the issues surrounding the relegation process from the 2021 Clare senior hurling championship will be made tonight.

Four clubs, namely Broadford, Smith O’Brien’s, Whitegate and Scariff requested a special meeting be held to discuss the implications of the decision taken in December to allow 18 teams compete in the top tier next year.

It came after Munster GAA ruled the relegation process in 2021 was to be deemed null and void, following an objection lodged by Crusheen, who had been relegated along with Clarecastle.
