A Clare financial advisor expects a new pension scheme to provide much-needed security to hoards of people across the county.
Social Protection Minister Heather Humphreys this week announced the roll-out of an auto-enrolment pension scheme, which will see almost 800,000 workers between the ages of 23 and 60 automatically enrolled in a pension scheme.
The new initiative will benefit those not already enrolled in an occupational scheme and will see employees’ contributions into their pension pot matched by their employers with a further top-up from the State.
