Clare To Face Waterford in National Hurling League Semi-Finals

Clare will play Waterford in next week’s Allianz National Hurling League quarter-finals.

The Banner’s passage was secured by the two results in Division 1A.

Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford have beaten Kilkenny by 1-19 to 1-12.

Tipperary are also into the last-eight after a 1-29 to 1-16 win at Cork.

Shane Bennett’s late goal helped Waterford edge out Galway by 1-18 to 2-13.

The quarter-final pairings are:

Wexford vs Galway, Clare vs Waterford, and Tipperary vs Dublin. Limerick are already into the semi-finals.

Home advantage for Clare’s meeting with Waterford will be decided by a toss of a coin.

The fixture for Clare’s game will be decided on Monday afternoon.

In next year’s Division 1 Group B, Clare will be against Wexford, Dublin, Laois, Carlow and the losers of a Cork vs Kilkenny play-off.
