Clare Couldn’t Reach Tipperary’s Level Says Moloney

Clare’s joint senior hurling manager claims Tipperary got to a level they just couldn’t reach last night as the National League opener ended in defeat. 

The wet and windy conditions were minute issues for the Banner who were put away by two second half Seamus Callanan goals and also saw captain Tony Kelly receive a straight red card. 

The Premier County were 2-16 to 1-11 winners, overturning their Munster League Final loss two weeks previously.
