Clare’s U20 hurling campaign for this year has come to an end.
Sean Doyle’s side lost out to Limerick in their semi final showdown at the Gaelic Grounds as the Shannonsiders ran out 1-27 to 0-17 winners.
Strong showings from Cathal O’Neill and Adam English helped Limerick open up a 0-13 to 0-6 half time lead.
Clare battled well in the third quarter to maintain that gap heading to the final period, but a brilliant goal from English put the result beyond any doubt.
