A Clare-based Ukrainian native says Russian misinformation is hurting those most affected by the war.
It comes ahead of a rally and protest taking place in Ennis on February 24th, to mark the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The event, which begins at 2 o’clock at O’Connell Monument, looks to raise awareness about the ongoing struggle of those affected and to request further support from government.
Ennis resident Mariya Nikishanova, who’s originally from Irpin, says a main aim of the rally is to tackle some of what she describes as propaganda around the war.
