Clare-Based Chair Of Water Safety Ireland Urges Caution For Christmas Swims

The Clare-based chair of Water Safety Ireland is urging organisers and participants of Christmas swims to be cautious this festive period.

Charity swims will return as normal for the first time in three years, with the annual events either having been cancelled or gone virtual during the pandemic.

Those who are taking to Clare’s waters during the Christmas period are being reminded that colder winter weather brings more dangerous swimming conditions.
